Q. I loved the sound of your new book, Horse of Bells. Please can you tell us a little about it, and any other new releases you’d like to share?
I love going through old fairy tales and giving them a twist. This is based on an obscure Irish fairy tale. It’s about honour, love and loyalty. We have the favoured older brother, and heir to the throne, and the more neglected younger brother who are fiercely protective of one another, the evil step-mother, a mysterious stranger, a feared, dark Prince, and a quest of honour. All the elements of a good fairy tale, with an m/m twist. I enjoyed writing this one immensely.
Q. Please us a little bit about yourself – how long have you been writing?
I started writing when I was a child. I read a lot of fairy tales, and stories about ghosts, witches and mythology even then. I created my characters from the series ‘Silver’ (on Literotica) when I was 12 or 13. The relationship between the characters then was close brotherhood, but they made the transition to m/m perfectly. I started to post on Literotica about 5 years ago, and have been a published author for about 2 years.
Q. You’ve written in an amazing array of genres – parnormal/horror, historical, sci-fi, and fantasy to name a few. Which is your favorite to write? And which the hardest?
My favourite would be difficult to choose, paranormal/sci-fi and fantasy are the genres I love – maybe fantasy has the edge, LOL, so difficult. The hardest for me is contemporary. I have to remember that characters can’t use supernatural gifts/gadgets/magic when writing in this genre.
Q. If a reader was new to your books, which one would you
recommend as starters?
Hmm. Ange et Demon would be a good start for preternatural – that’s part of my Demonica universe. Bedazzled if you wanted to combine sci-fi and the fairy tales with a twist – part of my Once Upon a Future series.
Q. You live in New Zealand — which is awesome! Does your NZ location inspire your writing?
Yes. I’ve used my locality when writing. I have beaches and mountains – it’s very beautiful here.
Q. It’s war between the demons and firebirds from your books. Who would win?
The good guys LOL. So most likely the firebirds.
Q. Any exciting new WIPs to tell us about?
I have another couple of releases with Silver publishing to come: fairy tales with a twist: Enchanted, and Red – my versions of Sleeping Beauty and red Riding Hood. Silver Stream is releasing my Steampunk ‘Glacialis’ in Feb. A book with Torquere entitled ‘Slayer’ will be released next month, and Evernight have accepted ‘Cursed Love’.
I’m working on a longer fanatsy that includes heroes, monsters, mages, and evil villains. I have another Demonica in progress, an Egyptian/Arabian inspired sci-fi, and a twist to Golidlocks I’ve just started. These are just a few of my WIPS LOL.

Isabella is taken away as a young child by Marged in hopes of foiling the curse altogether.
As Lucien grows, his heart belongs not to Evania, but to Teige. They keep their love secret, waiting until Isabella can come home before intending to reveal their love. The only people who know are Evania and Lucien’s cousin Dashiell.
